Your focus score, without lifting a finger.

No manual timers, no clocking in or out. Focus watches your foreground window in the background and turns it into an honest, automatic score for your day.

How it works

Set it up once. It runs itself.

01

Tracks in the background

Focus watches your active window without interrupting anything.

02

Classifies each app and site

Sorted into productive, distracted, or neutral, using rules you can edit.

03

Gives you a score and a streak

A 0–100 score for the day, and a streak that rewards consistency.

At a glance

The four numbers that matter

Focus Score

A single 0–100 number, weighted by how you actually spent your time.

Day Streak

Consecutive days you've hit your target score.

Productive Time

Hours logged in apps and sites you've classified as productive.

Distracted Time

Where the day actually went, tracked with no judgment attached.

Smart detection

Two things most trackers get wrong

01

Idle detection that understands audio

Most trackers mark you "away" the moment your mouse stops moving. Focus checks whether audio is playing first, so a video you're genuinely watching stays counted.

02

Per-time-block reclassification

Sites aren't all-or-nothing. Mark just the educational half of a YouTube session as productive, without reclassifying every video you'll ever watch there.

Privacy

Everything stays on your machine.

Focus logs activity and your classification rules to a local SQLite database and config file on your computer. There's no account, no server, and no sync. Nothing about what you do ever leaves your machine.
